Available in a variety of grades, this iron is graded by Silicon content. It is primarily used for metallurgical control in the production of gray iron castings. Highly controlled production assures optimum consistency and structure.

Silicon 1.50 - 2.00% 2.25 - 2.50% 2.51 - 2.75% 2.76 - 3.00% 3.01 - 3.50%
           
Carbon 3.50 - 4.50%

Manganese .40-1.00%
